Back massages and babies....

The kids lay down on command (even Owen) when Brad gets the back massager out. They both just love it, and Owen is still for like 30 seconds!

Ava already has Owen trained to play babies with her. She helps him onto the couch where he loves to be, and he holds and pats the babies just like she does. It is hilarious! Ava just loves having him play along!

We had our very first trip to Chucke Cheese for my nephew Sam's 7th birthday party. I think it's safe to say it was everything I thought it would be:) Ava loved playing on all the stuff, especially since Addie was there. Owen couldn't bear to sit and not be climbing around on things, but as it got busier he was starting to get run over by the bigger kids. Sam and all his friends seemed to have a great time. Hard to believe he's 7, wasn't he just born?

Ava was quite excited to get all dressed up in her dance costume for her recital. It took me quite a while to get all of her layered hair up into a ponytail, but I was somewhat successful. I even put a little of my lip gloss on her which she thought was the best thing ever. The recital was at Palace Theater and Grandpa Gary and Grandma Joyce came to watch her dancing debut. Her class was the youngest kids and first to perform. It was pretty comical. There were times when they were all just standing there and not sure what to do. Ava did make an effort to participate but none of the girls really remembered what to do. Regardless, they all looked cute in their costumes, and made the audience chuckle.
