Christmas at the Sieve's 1:
Mom's Birthday & Christmas Cookies.....
We had a great day at mom's to celebrate her birthday. We made many, many cutout sugar cookies and frosted them. The kids seemed to enjoy the cutting out part, but decided to go out and play in the snow when it came time to frost. Dad even did quite a bit of participating this year! The only bad part of the day was that Owen was obsessed with waking up Reese on my mom's bed. I think he was in the doghouse with Aunt Shelly!
Christmas with Hannah & Tristan....
Owen is wrestling his out of the bag
We had Hannah & Tristan over for a little "playdate" I guess if you can call it that. Tristan doesn't really "play" yet, but the kids sure enjoyed having these special guests. Hannah had her gifts for the kids which she made. Ava & Owen loved their new special "seats" she made them. We also had fun decorating the gingerbread house. It was a fun day complete with hot chocolate. Oh, and Tristan was an angel and let Ava hold him again!
Ava's Sunday School Christmas Program....
Grandpa & Grandma Van Meeteren made the trip up to Luverne to see Ava sing in the Sunday School Christmas program. Ava was thrilled for a performance as usual. We were there a full 30 minutes early and still barely found a seat in the back of the church. It was a very cute program and Ava did a great job singing and doing all the actions.
Christmas Gift Exchange/Hannah's Surprise Baby Shower...
I hosted a Christmas gift exchange at my house with some girlfriends of mine from Luverne. We also threw in a surprise baby shower for Hannah and Tristan. I think we officially surprised Hannah as we wrapped all our baby gifts in Christmas paper and made it part of a "game" we were playing. It was a great night with girlfriends and fun getting to hold Tristan. He is such a good baby.
