A Year Ago...

One year ago today, I woke up at 2:00 am to what I thought was going to be a horrible day that I would never forget. I was sure my 31st birthday was going to mark the tragic end to my 11 1/2 week pregnancy. In the emergency room, I had the best gift I could have ever received for my birthday...the ultrasound image of a tiny little baby moving its arms and legs, its little heart beating strong as ever. We were told that day this baby had a 50/50 chance to make it to term. It was a day that I would never forget, the day God granted us a miracle.
