Dean and Owen- a true accomplishment to get Owen next to an animal. It took lots of persuasion!
We talked Ava into actually petting the horse!
It was another fun night at the Rock County Fair. We met Dean and Laura Luitjens at the fair so that Ava and Andrea could go on rides together. The kids were beyond hyper but enjoyed going through the animal buildings. Owen was scared to get near any animal. We tried several times as there were lots of farm animals you could pet. Dean was finally able to persuade him, but it wasn't easy. The highlight for the girls was the rides, but Owen enjoyed a few too. It was another late night for us, but worth all the fun!
