Back Stroke
Owen was sick of the observation room and the activities I had brought along
Practicing her swimming stroke going under water
She went off the board lots of times last year, but apparently forgot
After some stalling on the board, Steph got out of the water for assistance and pretty much escorted Ava off the board in slow motion
She did it!
Ava loves swimming lessons! She can't wait for lesson time and never forgets the days I tell her they are scheduled. She is in Level 1 and Steph says she does extremely well for a 5 year old. Her swimming strokes are improving all the time. The only thing she is scared of this year is the diving board. The lesson after this one, she went off 5 times and the last two she went off without a life jacket. Hopefully, we have conquered that fear! Steph is amazing and Ava loves her!
