The Herfkens Come to Visit....

 We met up with the Herfkens at Ground Round to celebrate Dad's Birthday...

 The next day we planned our picnic at Garretson

 The water was high, but at least the park was open despite the flooding.  We did have a hard time getting there as all the east/west roads were washed out.  It took a very scenic route and way out of the way, but we made it.

 Ava & Toby quickly became buddies once again.

 We brought our portable grill and made burgers.  Weather was great, not too hot.

We enjoyed our day at Garretson.  The hiking was great and not buggy which was nice.  You could see lots of evidence of the flooding there too.  Fun Day!
